A hidden gem just off the old railway lines which is now the Auckland Way. This place holds so many memories for me. As a child we would walk through Bellburn and make our way back to my Grandparents house at Binchester for rock buns. It was wonderful walking this route now with my father and my youngest son, sharing the memories as we walked, we headed back to Binchester, I phoned ahead and asked my mother to make us some rock buns ?.

There are many beautiful old trees in Bellburn. Passive observers of time gone by.
