‘The Water’s Edge’ Loch Faskally Scotland north of Pitlochry. November 2021 we went on a road trip around Scotland. I have soooo many scenes I wish to paint this one called to me. Loch Faskally is a man made reservoir, it gives me hope! built in 1947-50 as part of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board's Tummel Hydro-Electric Power Scheme. Home to salmon and a visitor attraction, the picturesque riverside picnic area demonstrates how we can create renewable power whilst working to support our natural environment.
