The print is created from an original oil painting ‘Valley Burn’. The Valley Burn runs through Tudhoe Mill Wood, the area was used for industry for many years but now is part of the Nature Trust. It shows the steep sides eroded almost chiselled away by the water that fed the industry. Large stones lie in the valley burn. In the background broken trees from the storms at the beginning of the year 2022. A reminder of the changing climate and times. The sunlight filters through the branches it signifies the future. This is  an area reclaimed by nature and a sense of hope and renewal.
